We stayed in a room that had its own bathroom.

So glad we choose it, it's vacation base for staying in Lamu. The staff is very amiable and top-class.

The bathrooms are cold.

fantastic location really close to everything with views of the town and water. and so close to the town centre, a real labyrinth of stairs leading up to individual rooms, loads of character, a clinic and the square.

The staff here are excellent and the atmosphere is unique.

Everything was good, absolutely fantastic hotel, the location was marvellous right by Lamu island, the centre of lamu and the old town. The rooms were large and huge here with a great view and an ensuite bath, as for instance. The cost was usd 10. The best part were the really helpful and top-class staff👍

I recently stayed at Wildebeeste and it was amazing! The manager went above and beyond by arranging airport pick-up and making sure I had everything I needed. The location is perfect, right in the center of town. The rooms are spacious and the WiFi works well. The hostel has a unique Swahili style, with antique furniture and a fully equipped kitchenette. The bathroom has great shower pressure and the host even provided solar lights for power outages. It truly felt like a home away from home!
